At Last! - Someone Who Really Shows You How To Improve Your Putting!
Theres a great satisfaction in booming a drive down the middle, all the practice and effort is rewarded instantly, what a great feeling.
But what follows? Does your short game let you down, has the birdie chance turned into a bogeyor worse?
Most golfers put great effort into getting the ball off the tee and then onto the greens, by having lessons and range practice but very few give putting a second thought.
Professional spend more time honing putting skills than any other aspect of their game.
So why do amateurs rarely practice putting?
Generally they feel that theres more benefit in other practice, after all, if they hit a wayward putt theyre never going to lose a ball on the putting surface, but on the greens is exactly where every golf match is won or lost.
Have you ever bought one of those self assembly pieces of furniture, maybe a small set of bedroom draws, you take all the bits out of the box have a quick glance at the instructions and think This is easy Ill have this done in ten minutes, half an hour later you decide its time to have a proper look at those instructions, then the one piece you had the wrong way round fits into place nicely. Job done, and a nice glow of satisfaction.
The next time we do exactly the same (yes we all do it), we make a guess at what goes where and when it doesnt quite fit we look at the instructions.
Why dont we look at the instructions first? Because its human nature to look for the short-cuts or quick fixes.
Putting is exactly the same, except most golfers have never been given any instructions, they just make a guess every time.
If you want to improve your scores and start winning putting is a good place to start.
Its worth taking a few minutes to have a look at the webpage (link below).
The page contains several impressive videos of a young emerging Tour Player.
There are videos of chipping, pitching, and some very impressive shots into a par 3 green in very windy conditions.
As you can guess from the webpage title the emphasis is on putting, with several putting videos, covering all aspects of improving putting.
The aim of the webpage is to promote an e-book written by the Tour Player. Containing over 140 photographs the e-book covers everything from holing out to long putts, distance control, reading putts, uphill and downhill putts.
Take a quick look Im sure youll be impressed.
You can find it at Put To Win!

Pivot Pitching. Eliminate chunks and skulls by using your body and not your hands to move the club. Try keeping your arms glued to your body in the backswing and downswing.
Make golfing a lot more enjoyable with a new golf poll cart.
Kneework
The right knee should remain flexed, but it must rotate on the backswing to allow the hips to complete their turn. When done properly, this allows the weight to work into the right heel.
...golf putting tips
Hitting the ground before the ball, or "fat shots" is a very common problem that can lead to injury. This is caused by either coming into the ball too steeply, and/or decelerating the club head as you hit the ball. Proper weight shift is important and keeping your right shoulder back on the downswing (opposite for left handers) is crucial. There is a tendency to throw the right shoulder ahead as you come down creating an outside in steep club path. Focus on swinging more around your body to remedy this. A good drill is to strap your upper arms to your body and hit balls. This makes it impossible to throw the shoulder forward. Don't forget to accelerate through the ball. When you slow down at the bottom of your swing, you will hit it fat every time.
